Why it exists
Every workout has a reason.
ShaOS organizes long-term challenges as Missions, major training blocks as Phases, and individual sessions as Mission SOPs. The structure reduces guesswork and makes each day part of something larger.
About ShaOS
ShaOS is the system I built to connect strength, endurance, recovery, nutrition, and reflection into one deliberate practice.
Athlete profile
Become the type of athlete who is prepared for any challenge—not simply one race, but a lifetime of increasing capability.
At 39, I want people to see that it is never too late to turn your life around, rebuild your health, and pursue the best shape of your life.
My story
I was once nearly 300 pounds. Rebuilding my health taught me that lasting change does not come from a single workout, race, or burst of motivation. It comes from the systems we are willing to follow, examine, and improve.
Strength training became the foundation of that transformation. I developed years of experience in strength and hypertrophy, then chose a new challenge: becoming a hybrid athlete—someone who can carry strength over distance and remain ready for whatever the mission demands.
My work in software quality shaped the way I approached that goal. I wanted clear requirements, purposeful execution, honest data, useful documentation, and a way to learn from every cycle. ShaOS grew from that engineering mindset: training treated as a living system, with the athlete at its center.
The name
Together, ShaOS is My Hybrid Athlete Operating System—the meeting point between the athlete I am and the one I am becoming.
Why it exists
ShaOS organizes long-term challenges as Missions, major training blocks as Phases, and individual sessions as Mission SOPs. The structure reduces guesswork and makes each day part of something larger.
The objective
The goal is not simply to complete one race. It is to become the kind of athlete who is prepared for any challenge—and to keep becoming more capable throughout life.
Structured, not static
Performance, benchmark progress, recovery, consistency, readiness, and athlete feedback determine whether ShaOS holds course, adjusts the week, or revises the next phase. The mission stays clear while the plan learns from evidence.
Current mission
Phase I establishes the engine the larger mission will require.
